Anyone who saw the recent TV series (and even those who didn't!) might be interested in the SAVE annual lecture which is to be given this year by Ptolemy Dean, TV presenter, artist, writer and architect:

We are pleased to announce that Ptolemy Dean, architect, artist, author and TV presenter, is to give SAVE's 2009 annual lecture on the 25th June at the Royal College of Surgeons, London.

Britain's Vanishing Views will draw on topics from Ptolemy's recent Channel 5 series on vanishing views as well as the ups and downs of television documentary making. It is bound to be a highly enjoyable, entertaining and thought-provoking evening which will take us around the country and be scattered with humorous anecdotes.
