While we were on holiday in Devon, our visit to The Living Steam and Heritage Museum was one of our highlights. The staff were knowledgeable and caring about the exhibits and the fun-fair rides and memorabilia was seen to be used or in the process of restoration. We were especially impressed with the organ named The Dartford Warbler which is being carefully restored. We hope this can be a model for the forthcoming Heritage ride Park based in Margate.

The latest ride being restored is the the skids which is hope to be running by the end of year.

It does look fabulous, and well worth a visit.

Margate will, of course, be even better! :D
