Hi, can anyone tell me how much this ride costs to go on, and what the minimum height is for riders?

From : http://www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/ride.php?id=1&rideType=1
Pepsi Max Big One : 235ft high and over one mile of twisting and turning at speeds of up to 87mph.

Height restriction: 52"/132cm.

Tickets or unlimited ride wristbands accepted.

Number of tickets required:7.

I believe each ticket costs a £1 - but don't quote me on that.

From past visits the tickets work out expensive if you want to go on more than a few rides. Wristbands might be a better option.

Depending on when you're going have a look at the cheap wristbands offer on the front page of the site at the top of the post:

Unlimited Ride Wristbands are only £10 when you book in advance online (£15 if purchased on the day from one of our Ticket Sales Offices).
Pleasure Beach is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10th February to 25th March 2007.
Pleasure Beach is opens from 12 noon.
Wristbands must be booked in advance of 12 hours or more. Wristbands are not valid with any other promotion and are subject to availability.

Check that the wristband covers the Big One, it may not and you may have to pay regular price. And be warned - if it is windy it closes.

Also - many are boycotting BPB over what they did to Pleasureland and Cyclone.

The wristband in April is a lot more expensive, I remember from last year the price was £29 each, and it did cover the Big One.

Also the RCCGB visit in April, I think we are there 13/14/15. So might be best to pick another weekend just incase the queues are heavy! The Big One ran last year but in past years it has been out of action in April due to wind.
