That would be a meteorite ( Round Up ) lol, theres around 45 of those on the travelling circuit in the UK.

There are currently around 14 Rotors still travelling, Although Mattie & Douglas M&Ds have to my recollection never travelled a rotor.

perhaps it just set up at an m and d site and was owned by someone else although ill still look out for it just incase it appears elsewhere (kirkcaldy links is a good bet)

There was one at New Brighton. Must have been the early 60's. They were like a static version of the Meteorite but taller.

ive found out who currently owns the rotor i was talking about and ive put a link to their site so if you go to http://www.taylorsfunfairs.co.uk/ and click on the rides youll see it in all its glory

LOL thats Graham Sedgwicks sticky wall rotor, wasnt aware it had been sold on,

There is always a rotor at loughborough street fair (12th-15th november 08 this year) and has been for over 20 years or more there were 2 last year in different areas of the fair (and yes they are the classic wall of death type with viewing platforms) 1 was tommy matthews rotor and the other im not sure who owned it but they are always very popular at loughborough!, Also the goose fair has one nearly every year in the same spot ( graham sedgewick i think its owned by!

There was one too at ilkeston fair in derbyshire 16th-18th oct 08 (complete with viewing platforms) appeared to be very busy and still a good crowd puller!
