Know if there are any Book's/DVD's about rhyl during the 60's/70's
showing Ocean Beach , Marine Lake , the amusements ,the Swimming Pools and Lido along the seafront etc ?? .

themagiceye is about 6 or 7 months away from Phil Gould's Welsh Wonders 1 & 2 articles but in the meantime the link below from the brilliant National Fairground Archive shows some rides from North Wales in general and is definately worth a look.

Hello

There is a book called The Spirit Of Rhyl by Bill Ellis first edition 2004 ISBN 1-843-6-149-X (£15.95) which is published by Landmark Collectors Library and contains over 250 pictures.

The Landmark website http://www.landmarkpublishing.co.uk is currently inactive but there is an address: Landmark Publishing, Ashbourne Hall, Cokayne Avenue,Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 1EJ

It is also on ebay at the moment:
