The Matlock Bath Switchback Link

Postby Gary » 05 Apr 2009, 21:11

This is an interesting link (er.. dated at the top of the page Dec 2009 though??)

The Switchback at Matlock Bath. Hmm.....

I never knew there was one. Was there one? Is this an April 1st joke hoax?

http://www.wirksworth.org.uk/X364.htm

I'm gullible if it is a hoax. I want to believe it.

All this and Joyland linked at the bottom too.

There was indeed a Matlock Bath switchback. I have information on it sent to me by Ian Trowell of the National Fairground Archive.
