Shipley Glen Pleasure Grounds

Postby Nick » 28 Nov 2009, 18:42

Here is some fantastic footage of the rides at the Shipley Glen Pleasure Grounds near Bradford at Easter 1912. There is some amazing footage of the Switchback Railway, some of the earliest footage of a roller coaster I have seen. Also featured is the Aerial Glide ride (demolished 2004) and some spectacular fairground rides.
