Think Cups and saucers in water..and that all too common word: Interactive!

Europa Park have one:

Here's hoping Blackpool's is a little bigger and not just a retheme of the Swamp Buggies! :)

This from Mack's main site:

Combining the fun of an interactive boat blaster ride with the movement and technology of a tea cup ride, Twist 'n' Splash has been launched to satisfy the needs of smaller theme parks, hotel resorts and waterparks.

The attraction includes multiple patented features, including an innovative interactive water gun system and new technology that allows the boats to float free on the water and rotate on their own axes.

"With very low maintenance and operational costs as well as the ability to build the ride on steel floor, this ride experience is affordable especially for smaller parks," Mack said.

"Another feature of our new Twist 'n' Splash is the small diameter of the mini version, pre-destinated for small- medium-sized attraction parks and for younger children."

Good on you PBB for 2011.
