When I was there in the summer a member of staff was talking to me about the Wallace and Grommet ride.I thought he had made a mistake after seeing all the work going on in the children's area.He said The Gold Mine would be the place for this ride.

Gold mine to close in 6 weeks time, Wallace and Gromit ride to replace it.It will be faster than the Gold mine according to the operators I talked to this year.

I remember the ride when it first opened in 1971..Jeez..40 years ago!

We were queuing up for the monorail (and I mean 1hr of a queue) and I saw it lit up across the way in the night.

My dad said we didn't have time to go on it.

The ride became a staple for Ann, Isabel and I over the years..

I guess PBB has always moved with the times. If it's going to be faster the throughput will be good.

Is it going to be..dare I say that horrible dark ride word..interactive???!!??

My first ride was in 1979 on a school trip.
My fondest memories were in the 80's using up a b ride ticket and going in to warm up a bit during my late visits,I used to like going in October because the place was virtually empty.
I hope they don't make it a laser shooter or anything interactive,I feel Alton Towers ruined their haunted house by doing that,but many younger than me would disagree.
