Richards Big Wheel - Corbiere ferris wheel

Postby Corbiere » 30 Jun 2003, 22:23

Hi All,

I'm researching anything to do with the Corbiere spherical ferris wheel. My friend Richard Ryan has bought the wheel from Clarence pier at Southsea and it is currently being restored. we would like to hear from anyone who has photos of the wheel or other Corbiere type wheels which could be included in our web site http://www.richardswheel.com

Other places which have had similar wheels are Cone beach Porthcawl and Gt Yarmouth.

The wheels originate in France and were built By Henri Corbiére in the 1950's.

would love to hear from anyone with information.

Cheers
