Testers

Postby Strongbow55 » 01 Jul 2007, 00:51

I am compiling a list of testers for those enthusiasts who have small items and need a test on them
please bear with me while i compile it
but I feel it is beneficial
If I may I would advise if purchasing equiptment to invest a few quid in taking a tester with you to look over your purchase befor you part with cash
I wish I had done that regarding a couple of my purchases so trust me I dont want to see anyone ripped off
I am also finishing a list of hydraulic engineers and electrical specialists in fairground equiptment for emergencies
just in case something breaks down on a weekend
and i also think a link to accidents is important as we as showmen must report them so all fairground sites should have this http://www.rideaccidents.com/
public safety is paramount and i can never understand why in public forums no one is allowed to post safety posts ignorance is NO EXCUSE
accidents should be available for all to see for operators and public safety
if we dont know the problems how the hell can we fix them
http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/etis5.htm
photos are nice but the nitty gritty of running any kind of amusement is way more important
you wont get real info at many sites its usually deleted
you will never see the real truth on some forums for some reason and i dont know why
as a showman pt I feel its in evryones interest to be transparent and see the downside as well as the upside
if in doubt look for the test sticker on the paybox
u know you are safe :D
