Just on a off chance from a conversation today, It is possible that Mr. Fred Meakin of Fairground Inspection Services has a set of Lakin Dodgems, might be worth an e-mail.

I have just read your request for info on Lakin or Supercar track plans.

I'm not sure if this will be of any use to you, but we discussed this the other week on the fun fair forum that you aren't allowed to access.

The company that made all of the wooden parts for Supercar still exists and still has the plans/jigs for making new sections. Link is below:

http://www.wilfirs.com/site/index.php?c ... nt&read=36

I also asked the question as to if anyone had info on who made the O&S, Lakin, and Lang Wheels wooden parts but no-one seems to know.

Regards,

Peter Hoult (DodgemMan)
