Hotel Suffers Second Fire

Police are appealing for witnesses following the second fire in a week at the Grand Hotel site in Eastern Esplanade in Cliftonville.

A passer-by saw smoke coming from the building on Tuesday October 26th at 3pm, and raised the alarm with the fire and rescue service. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact Det Sgt Renata Johnson at Thanet police HQ, Margate, 01843 222192.
