The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Happy New Year to everybody... let's hope 2011 brings more good news for lovers of Dreamland, it would be wonderful if this was the year we saw the Scenic Railway rise from the ashes, as I am sure virtually everybody would agree!

PS It would also be nice to see that "finger pointing" sign to Dreamland Park reinstated on the corner of the wall near the clock tower and Papps Fish & Chips bar.
