Park Map and caterpillar

Is there a link to the latest version of the park map? my internet isn't working and I can't exactly search for things using the internet on my phone because it is crap. Also, will there be a dark part of the caterpillar? if that makes sense...

i believe it'll be like one with a roof that goes over halfway through? but then again i might be wrong, more than likely i am.
the one like that would be Mulan at great yarmouth, its awesome when the roof goes over!

it did have a cover when it was at southport,if i remember it was yellow at some stage in the past although it could have been replaced since

I'm wondering if he actually means the Caterpillar trackway actually going behind a facade. Since this ride loads from all 360 degrees, that might not be practical for safety reasons, although it would add to the fun and really make it dark in that section when the canopy went up.
I suppose the lights could go out as the ride starts.

That would add to expense, although a classic ride like this should probably be built at least in a roofed shelter, and enclosing the back half wouldn't be that much more work or expense, especially if it could be sponsored, and especially if it were don in canvas.

i went on that mulan at great yarmouth last year and for an old ride it was pretty awesome!!!
i hope the dreamland one will be as good.
on a different note does anyone know if they are still planning to get more rides for dreamland?
i would love to see more of their old classic rides replicated.
especially the sky wheels,upright paratrooper and octopus seemed to be dreamland staples years ago!

Rides cost money.
Even if donated, they cost to transport and restore.
Attractions added as they become available and space and funds allow. Look for Dreamland to build itself up over the first 5-10 years.

Replicating something from scratch is VERY cost-prohibitive.

Not to be offputting, but many of the occasional posters here seem to have very little idea of the immense costs involved in this project.

Rather than asking some version of "What's going to be there," or worse, requesting a specific attraction be located and installed, you might want to ask "What can I do to help?"
If you can help raise money, you can help ensure the attractions you'd like to see materialize.

True, but even the campaign here can use donations for operating costs.
Certainly you can swing 10 pounds to help pay for envelopes, postage, website maintenance...?
