Inspectors Report

Postby Cheryl » 08 Feb 2005, 11:48

Hi to all, I notice from the news page that the Inspectors report is being delayed until October. Did they give a reason why?

It is looking unlikely Dreamland will open this year, unless David Wallis can perform a miracle.

Though I would love to see the park up and running this year I suspect the removal of all the large rides (Wild Mouse, Flume) as well as the smaller rides is going to make it a lot harder for Dave Wallis to run this year.

Hopefully I'm wrong :!:

Don't know why the report's been delayed, seems crazy that it'll come out after this years main season is over. Seems a shame TDC don't seem to have learnt anything from the drop in visitors last year.

They're trying to build a big new housing estate near me, but the public enquiry keeps being extended due to the number of objections. Maybe they're having to extend they public enquiry over Dreamland due the number of objectors-Out of interesst does anyone know how many objections there have been in terms of e-mails, letters ect.
