I HAVE JUST LEARNED OF THE CAMPAIGN TO SAVE DREAMLAND FROM COMPLETE CLOSURE AND HAVE READ WITH INTEREST THE WEBSITE - I AFTER MANY YEARS WILL BE VISITING MARGATE THIS WEEKEND AS I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF DREAMLAND / BB (AS IT WAS KNOWN FOR A WHILE) - I AM DEEPLY SADENED TO LEARN OF THE SUDDEN DEMISE OF WHAT WAS A GREAT ATTRACTION- MIGHT I SUGGEST THAT SOME ONE FROM THE CAMPAIGN TEAM TRY TO APPROACH ONE OF THE UK'S BIGGEST THEME / AMUSEMENT PARK DEVELOPERS THAT BEEN THE TUSSARDS GROUP - THEY ALREADY OWN THORPE PARK, CHESSIGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES, ALTON TOWERS AMONGST OTHERS SO, I CANNOT SEE ANY REASON WHY SUCH A GROUP WOULD NOT CONSIDER INVESTING IN DREAMLAND - THEY ARE JUST THE SORT OF PEOPLE WHOM WOULD GIVE IT THE TURNAROUND IT TRUELY NEEDS AND DESERVES! IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY APPROACHED THEM - IT'S WORTH A SHOT SURELY?

Welcome to the forum :D

In a few of the older news items you'll see that Nick/the campaign has had discussions with a number of established theme park operators. The main ones being Cie and Grevin (Parc Asterix, etc) and Phillip Miller (Southend Adventure Island).

I would guess the lack of involvement of Tussauds is more likely due to their lack of interest in the park rather than due to the campaign not having talked to them.
