According to the Fabbri website. The new Big Wheel is 40m high (132ft) and has 27 gondolas.

Not sure who made the old one.
Perhaps Dave or Nick may know?
I know it had a mammoth 40 gondolas!

Fabulous. I challenge Bob or even the most hard-hearted cynics in TDC to say that this isn't impressive and a great advert for the town.

With the London Eye setting it's stall out for these sort of rides to be in prominent positions in major towns, I can't see any real reason why this can't remain in it's current position - it would certainly attract the attention of passing traffic and the general public itself.
