Future rider of the scenic railway

Postby lutonlad » 23 May 2006, 19:21

Sorry its of topic but seeing that Sarahs birthday created so much interest i thought i would share with you that my wife had a baby boy on sunday night after nine hours of labour and being two weeks late, I'm hoping he will be a future rider of the scenic railway so we need to keep this park going for the next 6 years at least.

P.s we called him Ben

Congratulations.

I know in your other post you said that Dreamland is a bit short of thrills (I'm not disagreeing), but surely you have to bring Ben over while you're in Ramsgate? Then, when he's older you can tell him that you brought him to visit the Scenic as a tiny baby...now he's old enough to ride it...and his dad was part of the Campaign that saved it.

Sure you are right but the cash is staying firmly in my pocket, will pop in to show him the shell grotto at some stage and also to say hi!

Congratulations.

Yeah, would be good to get him into rides from a young age-I was a couple of months old when I first went to Banbury fair.
