I think it's worth logging on and saying what you want - and that you think the whole consultation is a bit of a con. In fact a complete and utter sham.
The company isn't a public body carrying out a genuine consultation, it has no wider remit than its own holding, it's a commercial company which owns the Dreamland site and that's all it can be consulting over. Dreamland, as Nick pointed out on the radio, isn't actually zoned as town centre by the local authority.
So say over and over what you want - Dreamland to remain a fun fair with the Scenic Railway at its heart.
What those carrying out this sham conultation want of course is for everyone to say that they want 'regeneration' and a 'vibrant' mixed use of housing, shops, bar/cafes - the usual 'regeneration' mantra. which benefits only the developers and is making all our towns and cities bland nowheresvilles.
These places are the 21st century's Arndale Centres. Arid and bland and not places you would want to go as a tourist.
