The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

If....Sorry When we win this campaign, what should the theme park be called? Do you stick with the classic Dreamland or go for something different?

Vince, you shouldn't be voting in your own poll. Super Happy Fun Land indeed. Anyway, isn't there a park in Rotterdam already called that?

I created the democracy...I can take part in the democracy...
Super Happy Fun Land is loosely plagerised from the Simpsons!
I am not sure if the results from this poll could form a key part of the public consultation...but hey think of the headlines. MARGATE IS SUPER HAPPY FUN LAND CAPITAL.

To be fair Vince is giving us the oppotunity to punch him, however I'm not sure about 'The Scenic Railway Station' because if we called it that then what would we call the Scenic Railway Station. Wouldn't it be funny if they swapped names. I voted for Dreamland, but then I always have been nostalgic.
Most of the other options sounded more like slogans (ie the equivalent of 'non-stop fun park') and not names (ie'Adventure Island).

Vince, is this just a shameless exercise in getting your topic to the head of the Forum by commentating on your electronic punches?
