Hi Mark,

A quick summary as you are new here and there is a lot of history for you to catch up on (no inferrence intended).

Last year we clubbed together to rescue the machinery and cars for a water chute that's very close to the one that was in Dreamland. In some of your photos we can see some equipment that might have been part of this, but not knowing where the rescued items were stored, I was just asking for someone to confirm these were not near the scenic.

It would be awful to loose the work we did to save the water chute too.

Mark, No Problem.

Ripnet, you may well be right, so let's make sure the Scenic is rebuilt which will actually cost them more in the long run.

vince69619: Sorry my replies are out of sync (bit slow, inhaled too much smoke). Unfortunately I can't help as I don't really know the layout of the place.

What is really needed is a photo taken from a light aircraft/helicoptor to really see what amount has been destroyed and whats still standing or if anyone could draw a plan from the photos there have been on here.

I'm sure one of the members is up to the job.
Zoid on!

I know - but the site owners here may be liable if he does decide to get nasty.

Take care.

I think many have some sympathy for your point of view...

How can one person be so unlucky with regard to things going up in smoke?

However - many YouTube comments seem to agree...

Most odd. Why should the fingers all point to one man? What could he possibly have to gain? From this and so many otrher misfortunes of the conflagration variety?
