I don't suppose the council will refuse the application. It will be only too pleased someone wants to do something with it. Pity I agree.

Hmmm I can see how it does look so bad as of late for the lido but it is still has a full pub on all days (friday night's it's for the Rockers/Metal). Personally even though I like it there it does look so dead and dull and would like to see something done with it. Only thing that annoys me is that they are building apartment's and houses on every bit of land they can find!

In Ramsgate there is no open fields or land anywhere and walking towards the town centre you can see that every old shop that's been left to rot is now being turned into houses and the town centre is becomming smaller.

Anway moaning beside surpose at least something's happening to make the lido look better .

I agree that regenerationa nd developing properties that have stood empty for ages is great. However the listed element of the Royal Sea Bathing looks lovely but what was once communcal gardens (which could have been restored) they are squeezing 500 flats onto as a new build which is not in keeping with the original building. In fact the new buildings are going to be higher than the old Sea Bathing.

How planning was granted for these extra flats, I do not know?!

There is no infrastructure in Westbrook or facilities to cope with an additional 800+ residents which the council seem to have overlooked.

I think its a real shame that the site has been really over-developed with far too much housing.
