I agree, obviously Hornby are hosting the exhibition at their spiritual home but Dreamland Cinema would be the perfect place to host the exhibition in terms of attracting visitor interest once the Turner Centre and Dreamland are open.

Even where it is, it is still worth a visit!

How did I miss this? Really cool stuff.

Model railroading and such are always a big hit. One of the small nature centers here in San Francisco (yes, IN the city) had the local model railroad club move into their basement and it brings in WAY more traffic now.

Dreamland would be an ideal home for the local model railroad club to set up a permanent display. That would give tons of people a reason to visit the park... especially for the twice-a-year model railroad show and swap.

It does really defeat the object by moving it. Hornby Visitor Centre is at Hornby's factory. Doesn't mean they couldn't have some form of centre elsewhere though.
