Calling MickTee?

The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Hopefully the ISP will bring out something interessting, but it won't be conclusive because you can easily get a proxy server or alternatively AOL has an automatic proxy server that's supposed to stream line things, but is a hell for forum moderators.

If it is Bob I'm surprised as the user name is hardly subtle. I'm dissappointed that the way we speak about him has horrified you, but if you genuinely are a friend then we didn't originally speak to him like this. In fact we were very polite and gave him considerable time carefully replying to his post. Unfortunately he was rude to too many people and consequently attitudes to him have gradually hardened towards him over a long peroid. If either you or Bob want to discuss this and for me to suggest ways in which he might be able to pursude other users to be a bit more kind to him then either of you (or any other firends or mystery uncles) can add me to your MSN (forneilwilson@hotmail.com). Please note, however, that the entire conversation would be logged in case there was any comeupance. We do value other peoples input but only when it is delivered with tact. As Lutonlad said it is a Save Dreamland forum and not a 'Let's demolish Dreamland Forum'.

P.S. Thanks for taking caps lock off Bob, I mean Bobs friend.

Well in that case you can clear up a few issues, like who Bob really is, and why he registered here (increasing the count of Supporters of the campaign by another one).

Actually, we can thank you too for the same thing, the campaign can claim yet another supporter, as you have pledged your support for the campaign by registering.

Hiding behind your 'freindy' [sic] will not excuse the misinformation, name calling and misrepresenatation of other people's facts that you have engaged in.

Hiding behind your 'freindy' (Did he help you with the 'drence' [sic]?) will not gain your new mates here?

Hiding behind your 'freindy' [sic] will not explain how you can throw accusations at people without knowing their backgrounds and areas of expertise. You might be surprised.

'Hiding behind your 'freindy' [sic] does not mean that others have to [a] listen and [b] agree with you.

I mean Tafffy's mum and Taffy's mate might turn up. People would get really suspicious. Hang on it's not such a bad idea..........

Taffy (singular).

Although I see the obvious incentives in Mud Wrestling, gratifying and rewarding sport that it is (London 2012?), I recommend a Breakdancing Showdown on Supplied Linolium, best of three under the Clocktower at dawn tomorrow. In the event of a tie, it will be Sudden Death - Scissors, Paper, Stone.

The winner will receive all development rights to the Dreamland Site and a years supply of Chunky Kit Kats.

Odds Supplied by our friends at Williamhill.com

Sarah - 1/2 Favorite
Bob - 9/4

Drinks and Refreshments will be provided. An interval talk will be generously supplied by Mr Jimmy Godden entitled "Morris Dancing - Fact or Fiction?"

Calling MickTee?

I am still here watching, and listening to the many comments.
For the person who left the message on my telephone-I am certainly NOT 'Bob' or the new 'Bob' that is very vocal.

I agree with you over the difficulty proxy servers can impose on moderators, but are you a moderator here? because if your not this would be an invasion of privacy perhaps but i'm sure you will find that all or at least most names come from a different host/ISP and mine for one comes directly from my ISP :) good luck with your losing battle !jk
