I entirely agree that the council is holding the trump card. Whether they choose to play it or not is another matter...Certainly, as a Campaign, we are focussing our attention on those people who we believe have the most power to influence the situation.
However, Waterbridge is a company operating in the public domain and Toby Hunter's email address obviously isn't a closely guarded secret. I see no reason why individuals should not make their views known to him, if that's what they want to do. I don't think Neil has said, or even implied, that he is speaking on behalf of the Campaign. Of course, I appreciate that there is always a danger that Waterbridge may choose to assume that is the case. So long as it's made crystal clear that it isn't, I don't see why Thanet District Council should be the only people who are made aware of the public's strength of feeling.
