Save The Cyclone petition

Please everyone sign this petition and pass the address around as much as possible. I'm still shocked at the way Ms Thompson has gone about this and will think very carefully about visiting BPB for a good while.
Maybe a good idea would be a boycott the Traumatizer (or even better her precious Ice Show!) campaign when it opens there to get the message across to them!

Oh, I'm always doubtful about the effectiveness of petitions. Still, I've signed it and everyone else should too. It only takes a few seconds.

This has reminded me of the Save Myrtle Beach petition from ages ago. I had a few email chats with the campaign organisers, wonder how they're getting on. Too scared to look, might spoil my day...

I don't think Boycotting individual attractions would do any good. Either best to boycott the whole lot or none, and since Camelot is probably closing I don't suppose it would be much loss to have a day out there than at Backpool. The rides aren't anything like as good, but atleast the queues are shorted. Blackpool Pleasurebach used to have shortish queues, but having removed all those classics, and not bothering to fix half the others queues seemed to have sky rocketed.

Likewise I'm not keen on online petitions. I don't think they're wort the bandwidth they take up, but you never know...

I am indeed boycotting Blackpool. The whole Pleasurebeach though, not just individual rides. They're making no more money from me or my family.

Well, anything helps and it only takes a minute or 2.

Still, a petition aimed at the owners is fairly pointless in this particular situation. They want it gone.
Luckily, other means exist and it's outside influence that's put a halt to the cutting for now.

Check your junk mail. My reply took well over an hour.

There were almost 300 signatures when signed.
