Wow! They're the earlier cars. I'm quite tempted actually... Not entirely sure what I'd do with one though.

I wondered where those "original" Cyclone cars had gone. (I wonder if the seller is from BPB Ltd?? or a private owner). I guess BPB Ltd had got rid of these old Cyclone trains years ago.

Anyone notice the apparent joke bidder who has bid £39.99 three times? - I've never used ebay personally but I'm guessing they're a newbie with that logo thingy to the right of his/her screen name.

As I said before somewhere I reckon a local Southport bar or museum could really benefit from having a piece of local coaster history on display to attract a few extra punters. Also it would keep its connection with the town for future generations, hopefully with a nice picture of the Cyclone displayed behind the car. (They've done this opposite San Diego's Belmont Park in California so surely we could do something similar in the name of tourism too). It just needs the right business attitude I guess.

I still find it very hard to think that the Cyclone's not there still at Southport; this Summer will certainly be very different. However, on a different note did anyone know that Enjoy England has sent out "Family Fun Maps" of attractions to visit for the coming season? Guess what? - the first attraction listed under the Northwest is none other than Pleasureland. Ironic or what? - I guess it went to press before last year's park wrecking spree. I'll try to scan it on here for info if I can. (I suppose there could be a few stray disgruntled visitors this season who didn't know of the park's recent fate). I'm in two minds as to whether to contact Enjoy England on this.

A. Yup, newbie (Zero feedback rating).
B. The bidder probably bid, then upped his maximum bid twice. Since he is the high bidder, it will only show the current bid, which in this case also happens to be the opening bid. It will only go up if others place bids, then the system will automatically bid for him up to and including whatever he put in as a maximum.
