My visit to Dreamland

Postby faith03 » 17 Aug 2003, 19:26

Recently, I visited Dreamland with my Dad and 2 younger brothers. We had such a good day out and it was so easy to get there. We just got on the train and we were there.

The history of the place is apparent as soon as you walk in which was one thing that I was slightly aprehensive about as I did not think it would be a very thrilling day.

I was wrong.

In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we went back again the following week.

My point is, that Dreamland should not be closed! I know that this is the view of everyone on this forum, but I think the main problem is advertising. When we told my 2 brothers where we were going, neither of them had a clue what it was because they had never heard about it. It needs more publicity and by stepping up the 'save Dreamland' campaign another notch, it could be exactly what it needs.

Thank you to everyone and Dreamland for such a great day out and I only hope that it is still there when I come to Kent again next summer
