There's an full page article in this weeks Kent On Sunday about the making of the Exodus film at Dreamland.

Click here to read the article

The film's going to be showing on the 19th October at the London Film Festival - slightly miffed as I can't make that day.

The full London Film Festival schedule has now been launched and there are now 2 showings of Exodus listed :D

Think I can make the new date, so will hopefully get to see it on a big screen even if not it's UK premiere.

Having failed to get tickets for the above showing I could make, there is now a 3rd chance to see this on the big screen before the C4 TV showing on the 19th November.

They've added a screening at the Barbican in London on 28th October at 4 in the afternoon to tie in with another concert of the songs.

Plenty of seats available at the moment!

Paul,

Just wondered if you got to catch this film. I would have liked to have caught last Friday's playing but I'm normally so exhausted come the end of the week travelling back and forth to London these days.

I was curious to hear what it was like.

Martin

PS Maybe the film will get a sudden airing more locally; would've been a great farewell showing for the Dreamland Cinema I reckon, especially with its local content.

I think there's some sort of conspiracy to stop me seeing this!

We had 2 tickets booked and set off with plenty of time ..... only to get caught in a gridlock of traffic near the Blackwall tunnel as they'd closed it. It was bad enough that we eventually gave up and headed back home.

I'll just have to try and catch it on the 19th November on Channel 4 when it gets its TV première. Think it's best if I rig up about 8 video recorders just to be on the safe side.

Mostly want to see if I managed to sneak my Save Dreamland t-shirt into any shots

Don't forget. It's the 19th today and Exodus can be caught on Channel 4 at 9.00pm tonight. From the reviews it doesn't look like it'll be my scene but I'll give it a go.

Damn it - I've only just seen this after getting home late from the lecture on seaside architecture in London earlier this evening (which EAS kindly posted in a separate topic).

Seems like I'm also destined to miss this thing; I was only thinking the other day how it must be having its TV debut quite soon too. I've just decided to hit Channel 4+1 on cable and record what's left of it (I reckon I could do with Channel 4+2!)

Martin

PS Don't suppose this will get reshown any time soon

Martin,

It is available for free to watch or download on 4OD, Channel 4's on demand service.

If you haven't already got it just download the player from the link above and they is a whole host of things to watch. Just search Exodus in the film section.

I missed it as well last night so I'm downloading it as I type.
