I got mine today. They seem to be the photos off the Save Dreamland Campaign website and possibly off a few other amusement websites, so is the seller someone who uses this forum? It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it arrived quickly, and I've enjoyed re-visiting photos I hadn't seen for a while.

I would echo Neil's comments, many of the photos are from the gallery.

Vince.

Interesting - copied without permission possibly?

Certainly nobody has asked me for permission.

Hmmm... should this be taken further?

I note the eBay site says:

My Father Worked As A Break-Man On The Cenic Railway In The 1950's.

He mentions all about the models in the walkway, but there are no pictures of this on the cd.

I have now seen the list of photos on the CD and all of them are from the Save Dreamland and/or Joyland Books websites. Many are nothing at all to do with Dreamland either!

I note from this link that he has sold several of these CDs over the last few weeks and made quite a bit of money from it (and these are only the items for which feedback was given!):

If anybody has bought this CD and has not yet given feedback, please provide negative feedback pointing out that the photographs have been used without permission.

Nick,

If you want to take it up directly with Ebay then it may be worth going through their VeRO scheme that's designed for copyright infringement complaints :-

Hi

In my expreiance nick you will be waising your time complaining to E-bay I am part of the Fruit-machine emulation scene and layouts that are produced and given away free on various web-sites are sold on E-bay and the creators of the layouts have complained to E-bay and nothing has been done, admittly the ROMS that are neded to make them work and the orignal art works are copyright the various machine manufactiers, but the layouts are copyright of the orginal designers.
