Awful. Just awful.
Has anyone managed to contact Nick?
I've e-mailed him.

Just got back from seeing the old girl on fire, quite upsetting many memories on that coaster.

But what happened to the security which was supposed to be on site?
Justice - proof required. No doubt the real culprit will have sound alibis.

Listed cinema will be next.

You can safely say thats put an end to the save dreamland campaign. With the scenic now gone and no doubt it will have to be destroyed for safety, we have no campaign, three years from now we will be looking at another tower block development filled with our foreign friends.
I demand that a full inquest be raised and the scenic rebuilt as per the origonal design, but no doubt there was an electrical fault which caused the fire.

Police are treating fire as suspicious at present. I am under no illusion as to whats gone on there this afternoon that will spoil the lives of so many people for the benefit of just 1 person.

A fire in THREE places an accident?
I bet there's no insurance - and even if it could be rebuilt, not enough historic fabric left. It 's no longer then a listed structure and protected. A bit of the nation's history in ashes.
How long for the cinema...

No, I'M SURE THIS WON'T BE THE END - The scenic deserves better than that and Dreamland too. We are still here and we can and should carry on.
