Hi, been trying to find a general history thread so I don’t have to clog the forum up with another one. This is the closest I’ve got. Little factette (you may all know already), but according to Wikipedia (everyone’s favourite source for reliable information ], Dreamland purchased odds and sods from the Millennium Dome:

That first item on this topic still has a local connection. As you can see it was written by Mike Benton, then a bright, thrusting young man who lived opposite me in Birchington at the time. I'm told he has seen a lot of the world since and has returned to Birchington in fairly recent times. Since his return he has successfully organised the Quex Park concert which featured Suzi Quatro (an exciting star for middle aged gents who like ladies in leather trousers - but that's another story I guess!) last year while President of the local Rotary club.
