Scenic Railway Model

Being a keen Fairground Modeller myself and having a Great love of Dreamland, I found an interesting site for Model Rollercoasters and one in particular, thought very special :lol:

I wonder how accurate the structure is. If it were fairly accurate, it might maka e a good study for the rebuild.

I would guess the model has been made from using just Photo's as a guide as if you study it there are some differencies, ie the gap between the workshop and the track, the last turn before the station and no archway at the old Coach Station end etc, (sounding like a right anorach here!! :roll: ) so would not be accurate enough to be used for a guide for any re-contruction.
I must say this still does not in any way detract from it being a superb model as it is most difficult to replicate something, in scale when all you have to go on are pictures. It's easy to be critical when, like many of us, I have had the privilege of riding this Scenic Railway many times. :D :D .............and hope to again :cry:
