Any old maps/brochures/tickets?

Hi there!

I am a local Graphic Design student and as part of my final degree project I am looking to re-create a brand for the park, as if it were to re-open.

Although it will be used in my final show, it is a "just for fun" brief.

I need old images/maps/brochures/tickets to the park and was hoping someone on this forum can help me. I would simply need to take pictures of the old style branding for my research and would then be using this to develop a new look.

Any help would be much appreciated

Kim

Kim, contact Nick Evans (he has a sticky topic at the top). If anyone can help you or point you in the right direction, he can.

You will find plenty of images on the Campaign's home page at http://www.savedreamland.co.uk/ , there are photo galleries on the right hand side of the page. I don't know what the copyright status of any of the images is but I am sure Nick would advise you on this.

You might also get some ideas by Googling "ebay dreamland margate postcards" but again, I don't know what the legal position would be to using them. If it's for a classroom project though, I imagine nobody would blow the whistle

Good luck with the project, it would be good to see your interpretation of what might happen.
