The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Looks truly magical. Can't wait to see the rest of the plans on Sunday. I've also managed to attract a few more people to get down to the event. (Hope we have a good capacity!)

PS On a side note, I got really excited last night as I got three free entry tickets for last night's Euro Millions lotto from work and I couldn't believe I'd managed to match two numbers and both Lucky Stars! - Don't get too excited though, as even attaining this major feat (In my opinion), the stunning prize fund appears to be £19.20! At least I can pay for my Dad's birthday meal later today lol.
PPS Would've been a truly magical weekend if I'd scooped a major jackpot prize - we have to keep on dreaming - as Evel Kneviel said after having the word "dreams" as one of the key words to life on his tombstone

It does look magical, doesn't it? I can't wait to see the rest either, sadly can't make it tomorrow as rather a long way, but hopefully more pics will be posted here for fans of Dreamland world wide next week!

That looks truly incredible - much better than I thought, even!
I really can't wait to see the rest. If the whole park is up to this quality it would probably be my favourite park in the UK.

I have had a sneak preview (but don't tell anyone...) of a small part of the River Caves interior, and it's going to be huge fun!
