Nick Evans' sequel to "Dreamland Remembered"

Postby Vince, Charlie and Sam » 26 Jul 2009, 18:04

I recall that Nick Evans was planning a sequel to his excellent book, "Dreamland Remembered", and I wonder if this is still the case?

Not being impatient or anything  but does anyone have any information as to when it might be published?

My credit card is at the ready!

Funny you should mention that! I am in fact working right now on an improved, expanded and updated version of Dreamland Remembered. I'm hoping I can have it in the shops/online/mail order for sometime in October, depending on how my other work pans out. It should include a colour section and lots of new photographs. There won't be a Lido section this time as I want to use the pages for more Dreamland history. Copies will be £15.99. Thanks for asking. Keep your cash/cheque/Paypal/credit cards warm please!

Hi Chris, this will be Dreamland Remembered 90th anniversary edition. Lots of new photographs that weren't included before and a more detailed history.

Hello All,

I am pleased to say the book is completed and with the printer as we speak. In fact, I have just signed off the proof version. I would hope to have copies to me in around 10 days time - by about 19 or 20 October? The book has 128 pages, about 30 of which are in colour, with 240 photos, half of which were not in last time!

If you would like to send me a private message about this, then I can answer any questions you may have without cluttering up the forum!
