hi

i went to the sea change site at http://www.cabe.org.uk/sea-change/margate (found using google), to see if i could get a heads up as to the status of the /big/ grant application that seems to me to be key to our new Dreamland...

Of course, i know this site is not done by you lot, but i thought i should point out how broken the site is...

The headline is just wrong - he plan is not to use the cinema as a theme park, of course its the land behind it...

Also, none of the links work, so no details about your plans are visible...

not good...

ps. Wasnt a decision on this due at the end of July??? isnt that tomorrow? anyone heard anything???

fingers crossed

g

I suspect you're unlikely to see anything on the SeaChange site directly related to the securing or otherwise of the funding before it's official release.

I think you may be being a touch picky here:

The headline may be slightly inaccurate but throughout the pages relating to Margate there are plenty of references to the usage of both the main Dreamland site and the cinema building.

The links within the text do not function correctly as you point out, but these are duplicated in the left menu bar if you want to get at that information.

I wouldn't really describe it as a broken site! If you really wanted to be helpful a quick mail to the webmaster regarding the broken links would probably be appreciated rather than condemning the entire site.

Here's hoping the funding application is successful!
