Small fair in Dreamland

Hi,on holiday in Birchington with the kids at a very busy caravan site. Took a drive out to go to the sweet shop that sells all the old sweets and was amazed to see a fair in Dreamland.£1.50 a big ride and a friendly bunch. Has the big sweet shop moved or shut down?

Do You mean the one near primark that had every sweet you could think of in jars? That closed down about 3 years ago. I don't think they were opening anywhere else.

Yes that was the one, it use to be another thing Margate was known for.I think I last went there in 2006.

Good to see some of the Dreamland site being used for what is it ment for. It is there intill 31st August.

It was good to have a few rides with the kids. But as u look on at the Scenic and the state of the site it filled me with sadness.fingers crossed for the future.

A very clean and tidy fair with very well maintained rides. Was good to see an "old fashioned" set of round ended build up dodgems again rather than the modern fold out type! Hopefully just a small taste of better things to come in 2011.

wheres the site fees that the ride owners are paying going too.Surely it should be getting used to maintain the standing part of the scenic.
