Lord George Sanger window display
Posted: 13 Nov 2009, 20:15For anybody who might be in Broadstairs this weekend, do take a look at the window display of Gore Bros funeral directors in the HIgh Street, close to the NatWest bank. Gores directed the Thanet part of funeral of Lord George Sanger in 1911 and the display has information and photos of him and the occasion. I don't know how long it will be there for, but I'm guessing for a coupe of weeks anyway. The very pleasant lady who puts the displays together phoned me the other day and I said would pass on this to Dreamland fans.
