The old fire engine at Dreamland

Postby stylish » 21 Nov 2009, 21:20

I have been tasked for trying to locate the old benbom bros fire engine which was stationed by the zoo, when the park closed [booo] it was taken to trices [as it was then] scrapyard in sandwich, i called the fire engine preservation society at the time and they saved it, they are now no longer in existence, so we have lost track of it, it was a left hand drive, [from holland] made by Dennis i think, with running boards, and was considerably longer than the norm, can any one shed any light on it, a reg no or photo would be good,
many thanks
