and best wishes to the new Dreamland Trust Project Director

The Dreamland Trust today announces the appointment of Jonathan Bryant as its Project Director


and Audience Development Officer and Project Archivist

The Trust has also appointed Jan Leandro as Audience Development Officer and Graham Ward as Project Archivist, both of whom start in January 2010.




Wow is all I can say. Well done us too, for getting the dream this far!

Yes, a big well done. I don't know how many applicants there were, but if they had two rounds of interviews it must have been competitive.

Thanks to the rest of the Trust for giving up the time for interviews. I know you're all very busy and other jobs/family/friends/other voluntary commitments. You're making me feel lazy. And thanks to those who gave the funding and made all this possible.

And commiserations to those who didn’t make it. From what’s been said the competition was fierce so some strong applicants may have been turned down. It’s an amazing opportunity so I imagine those who didn’t get it will be disappointed, but I’m sure many of them will get other jobs in the industry. Might be interesting to hear where they end up.

Jonathon sounds like a really nice guy. I know some people in the industry like to be called by their surnames, but I think it seems more down to earth to be happy for people to use their first name. My mum’s side of the family were miners so would be interesting to visit the coal mining museum. The one in Wales is well worth a visit. Staffordshire has a lot to offer visitors.
