I'm hoping that Nick can tell us all when work will be starting on the scenic railway to rebuild it ?

From the newsletter that we received at the end of May (it can also be viewed on this website), it seems unlikely that there will be a date for that just yet. The newsletter says that a 3D scan of the Scenic is due to take place in the next few weeks and an assessment of the plan of action will then be made. Hopefully the next newsletter will let us know more!

The 3D scan is now complete. We are now taking advice on exactly how it will be rebuilt and how much needs to be replaced. Then we need to go out to contractors for quotes for the rebuild. However, we need to tie this in with work on the rest of the park or it will add to the costs, so we don't have an exact date yet. But work is moving forward as quickly as it can.
