Naked Rollercoaster Riding ! Please support us.

Naked Rollercoaster Riding ! Please support us.

Postby dave771 » 14 Jul 2010, 23:27

Hi to you all.

Dave Collard and David Ellis will be taking part in the Naked Rollercoaster World Record Attempt on the Green Scream at Adventure Island, Southend on Sunday 8th of August.

As well as a World Record attempt we are also doing this to raise awareness and funds for Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation’s Bosom Pals Appeal.

This appeal aims to raise £750,000 to bring state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment to the Hospital’s breast care unit. In addition to providing two digital mammography machines, the appeal will also fund the latest x-ray and biopsy equipment, enhancements to scanning machines and an improved environment for patients.

For further details – www.sh-cf.org

Now heres the bit you were expecting !

We would like you to dig deep and support us as it is roller coaster related and for a great cause !

We wont show any photos of us naked but if you dont give generously then we will and you really dont want to see that !

You can give via the justgiving website
http://www.justgiving.com/David-Collard

We would like to thank Nick Laister for allowing us to promote this event on the forum and thank you all in advance for your support.

Unfortunate positioning of the word "Sticky" in the title topic!

Good luck to both of you though, hope you enjoy it and a good bit of fund-raising.

The two Daves -

I thought it only fair to pledge each of you equal amounts. I could be thinking of you in a Welsh field come your big day. Let's hope the current weather holds up for you both.

(In case you're interested, I managed to survive the 2 hour test pre-cursor to my 24 hour coaster challenge on Toverland's Troy woodie in Holland last Saturday night). I might be looking for some sponsorships soon for that actually; I think it's for the Make a Wish children's charity).

I'll keep you posted, if I'm allowed to promote the above here. The event's rather untimely set for September 11, 2010.

Regards

Martin

The World Record should definitely be broken...they now have enough riders for two full trains, so the old record of 32 will hopefully be a new record of 40, although that does mean that each of those 20 tiny little seats will need to have two naked people sandwiched in them!

Love to participate. I'm super tapped out right now. Have to rebuild the engine in my car. :-(

Very close to target now...hope you hit it tonight!

Just to say best of luck with getting up at 6am - if you can manage that, then naked rollercoaster riding will be easy peasy.

And really, you can't have any blushes left after the cover of the Thanet Times (still recovering from seeing seeing DAVE BARES ALL! posters all over Thanet and having a naked Dave drop through the letterbox...Min was thrilled to bits with that particular bit of post).

Good luck and have fun. You should be proud of the cash you've raised for the hospital.
