Hi all,

I have the very saddest of sad news to pass on that my partner, Fiona Day, sadly died in the early hours of Monday morning aged just 33. She had been ill for some time but not in a life-threatening capacity, so this has come as enormous shock.

She thought a lot of this campaign and met a lot of people involved at one point or another, as well as helping out on occasion at certain events. She was a wonderful, beautiful, kind and generous person who will be greatly missed.

Thank you all for your kind messages, it means a great deal and thank you for taking the time to do so.

Her funeral service was yesterday and she had a wonderful turnout - she was very well loved by so many.

She admired the effort and time that people have put into this campaign against such strong opposition at times and was pleased to be a member and occasional active part of it. Long illness prevented her being involved as much as she would like to have been.

I hope she will be looking down when we have finally realised our dream. Thank you all again so much.
