Well done for progress :)

The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

I was along for that.
Creative idea that did get a little delay in action, but ultimately, they tore the coaster down. It wasn't a fantastic coaster, but it was small and in immaculate condition and wasn't even offered to anyone.
it could have been moved.

Do you know what the site's been used for since?
A traveling fun fair - and nothing else.

Idiots.
