I could not believe it such a nice thing to find I flew out the loft and said to mum do you remember this she could not believe she still had it all the other Margate stuff she had got throw out years ago but the bag went to the loft as late as 1989. My sister also had a bag that she used a lot sadly it faded in the wash mum never used this bag what a nice thing to find I am really chuffed.

Mum will not part with the bag she will use it for a while but then it will go back in the loft. If I remember correctly one of the park maps had this image on it I am not sure if that map has been posted on here though.

I didnt really expect you to part with it. That was the parks logo for some time. That was the logo on all souvenir items and like you said on their brochures.

That bag almost looks like a tote (green/environmental) style cloth/cottton bag that some supermarkets sell for reusage these days. Maybe Bemboms were way ahead of their time! (I trust it was a standard plastic carrier bag though).

I remember seeing the same, or similar, logo on their car stickers back in the day too. (Can't think why I never acquired one really as I seem to have quite a few car stickers on my rear screen in the 80s; I know I had American Adventure and Blackpool Pleasure Beach/Revolution ones).

Martin :D

As far as I remember Martin they were as you described, a more heavy duty material bag.
