Could we not set up a fund specifically to buy the engine? Maybe put something on kickstarter.

well in relation to returning the railway to dreamland dont forget there are lots of miniature railways out there that would be willing to help, such as us at rhyl miniature railway where we run two locos the same as Billie. We have just borrowed Billie this last may for our 100th gala and it is not in that bad a state, dont be fooled by what is on the outside its what is under the wrapper that counts. Also some of the hard work has been done for you as we have had a new boiler built for one of our locos so that you can now just go and order one without having to do all the paperwork for pressure vessels. If you have any more question just ask and I will see what I can do.

just to throw a spanner in the works but one way round the tight curve problem would be to run the railway around the whole sit as a means to move the people round the site instead of just an attraction. This would be better now that(reading from other parts on the site) you are going to get the whole of the old site. It would be easy to do at this point as not much is on the ground so you could tweak the plans to fit this idea in. This would not be a problem as the Barnes Atlantics were built to pull six coaches round our mile trip at Rhyl so Billie will be able to move large numbers around the site without a problem
