I wish I had known about this film earlier, I would love to see it. I'm hoping there will be another screening soon.

Hi Vince,
Yes will be a up date coming soon, at the end of the film they had a talk about the film and future of Thanet and what you like to see on the next one.

The film went from 1920 to 2011 and talk about the future of thanet, but most people watching the film did not think its got a future the way TDC are going.

This will be on again at the Granville on 21/22 march at 2.30 and 31 march at 19.30 so if you missed it before, this may be your last time of showing.

Thanks Alan - I did mean to reply to your earlier e-mail; sorry for that.

I will make every effort to catch the film this time round; could be a good Toby Carvery en-route excuse! Anyone else car to join me? - Monday 21st sounds favourable for me if my cold goes away hopefully.

I eventually got to see this film on 31 March owing to previous illness; I was lucky I phoned ahead as the lady said she only had five tickets left at that point!

Some clips I'd seen before at the former Vintage Film Nights at the Walpole Bay Hotel, however I thought it was worth going to see, if only to see a former Councillor's rather pathetic, divered response. (He was seen looking into space for what seemed like ages when questioned over the previous continued residential property expansions along the Thanet coastline). Quite a classic moment I thought, apart from the local demonstrations regarding Ramsgate's former Pleasurama redevelopment proposals and local Jimmy Godden protests along the Margate seafront.
