Is it not just a plastic seat moulded in 1000's, one of which has been mounted on the scenic possibly!!

Considering what's gone on, I'd hope this item would be donated back to the campaign; to the Scenic Railway.
At least one train needs to be built virtually from scratch.

I sent the seller a message about considering donating the piece back to the campaign as maybe it could be used as sort of a mascot for fundraising efforts.
So very few original train parts now survive.
Hopefully I'll hear back from him.

That looks nothing like the original seats. The original were iron cupped with only one working train having its original in the end if i remember right.

The seat that was advertised on e.bay was not from the Scenic Railway, it was the one of the seats that Bembom Brothers used for their tables and chairs used in the park.

The seat was from the Scenic Railway as they were used on the trains in the last few years of operation. They were as Mick says used on the tables in the Bembom days.
Please dont waffle our Walter !
